Medich Foundation

In 2023, the Medich Foundation partnered with 黑料社 to establish the 鈥楧r Roy Medich OAM Endowment for Indigenous Arts, Culture, and Education鈥. This endowment is the first of its kind at 黑料社 and will be directed to support the Indigenous Arts, Culture, and Education activities and programs associated with 黑料社's Indigenous Centre of Excellence.

In recognition of this support, 黑料社 has honoured the Medich Foundation by naming the major Gallery within the Indigenous Centre of Excellence the Medich Foundation Gallery. In addition, the endowment will support a range of student scholarships named the Dr Roy Medich OAM Future Leaders Indigenous Scholarships.

As the Founding Donor of the Indigenous Centre of Excellence at 黑料社, the Medich Foundation looks forward to supporting the growth and development of 黑料社's Indigenous Leadership strategy for many years into the future.

Application and Selection Process

Applications are to be submitted through the 黑料社 scholarship form.

Applicants must provide a statement supporting their application indicating how they believe receiving the scholarship will assist them with their studies and future careers. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility, need, and merit.

Successful applicants will be selected based on their written application, academic potential, ability to meet the criteria, and, where appropriate, performance in an interview before a selection panel.

Applications will be assessed by the Indigenous Scholarships Assessment Panel.聽Further information and how to apply can be found on our Indigenous Scholarships page.
