The University has engaged Australia’s national identity and cyber support service IDCARE on an ongoing basis to provide advice and support to you, free of charge.Ìý

IDCARE can help you protect your personal information that has been impacted, and help you understand what it means if you have received more than one notification.

You can visit or call them on 1800 595 160, quoting the relevant WSU incident number, which is listed on each incident notification webpage, and in the individual notifications themselves.

If you would like to know more about cyber safety and security, cyber incidents and how you can better protect yourself online, the following resources might be helpful.

    • Advice and information about how to protect yourself online, including securing accounts and devices and how you can stay safe online.
    • Common online security risks and advice on what you can do to protect yourself.
